Two ways to get around the island
Small and personal: we keep a handful of vehicles in different variants and look after them ourselves. All are electric with a range of 25–50 km — more than enough for a full day on the island. Please book ahead, especially in summer.
Golf cart
An electric golf cart with room for passengers and luggage — perfect for families with groceries, suitcases and beach gear. Road-registered and approved for public roads — a moped licence (AM) or driving licence is all you need.

Give +46 70 593 14 32 a ring (7 am–9 pm, otherwise text) and tell us which day you are coming and which ferry you are on. That's the whole booking.
We meet you at the jetty
When your ferry arrives, the vehicle is charged and waiting. Stefan shows you how everything works — it takes a couple of minutes.
Explore the island
Drive at your own pace to the swimming rocks, the shop or your cottage. When you're done, return the vehicle as agreed.

When your legs say no
Walking with a rollator or cane, or simply not up for the long gravel roads? With a mobility scooter you reach the swimming rocks, the shop and the café — without asking anyone for a lift.
Families with luggage
Groceries, suitcases, a pram and beach toys — it gets heavy from the jetty. Load up the golf cart and be at your cottage in five minutes.
Curious visitors
On a day trip and want to see the whole island? Take the golf cart to Ingmarsö's hidden gems and fit in both a swim and a fika before the ferry home.

Archipelago Mobility is run by Stefan Ljungberg, whose heart belongs to Ingmarsö. He's the one you talk to when you call, the one who meets you at the jetty, and the one who makes sure the vehicles are always charged and ready. Feel free to ask him about the island's best swimming spots while you're at it.
We're starting on Ingmarsö — but the vision is bigger: more electric vehicles on more islands across the archipelago.

Getting to Ingmarsö
⛴️ By Waxholm ferry
Waxholmsbolaget ferries run to Ingmarsö from Strömkajen in central Stockholm (a beautiful 2–2.5 h archipelago cruise), from Åsättra jetty on Ljusterö (about 15–20 min) and from Boda jetty on Värmdö (about 30 min). The island has two jetties — north and south.

🔌 Charge & return
The vehicles easily last a full day on the island. For longer rentals we help you with charging. Returns are arranged together — simple and flexible.

Do I need a driving licence?
For the golf cart, a moped licence (AM) or a driving licence is enough. It is road-registered and approved for public roads. For the mobility scooter no licence is needed — the minimum age is 14.
How do I book?
Call Stefan on +46 70 593 14 32 between 7 am and 9 pm — outside those hours, just send a text. We only have a few vehicles, so please book ahead, especially in summer.
How much does it cost?
Golf cart 400–1,200 kr and mobility scooter 200–500 kr for 3–12 hours. Longer rentals — a full day, weekend or week — are quoted separately, and discounted rates apply from September to April. Delivery or pick-up costs 250 kr per occasion.
How far does the battery last?
All vehicles are electric with a range of 25–50 km depending on the model — more than enough for a full day on the island.
Where do I pick up the vehicle?
We meet you at the jetty when your ferry arrives (delivery/pick-up 250 kr per occasion). Just tell us which departure you're on when you book.
Can I buy a vehicle?
We occasionally sell vehicles as well. Call Stefan and ask what's available right now.
